Everton - Manchester City 3:3

Manchester City suffered a damaging setback in the Premier League title race after a chaotic 3–3 draw away to Everton. Pep Guardiola’s side looked in control early on, taking the lead through Jeremy Doku, but what followed was a defensive collapse that could have serious implications in their pursuit of Arsenal.

The turning point came in the 68th minute, when a costly mistake from Marc Guehi gifted Everton a way back into the game. His underhit pass towards Gianluigi Donnarumma was intercepted by Thierno Barry, who made no mistake. That moment sparked a remarkable surge from the hosts: Jake O’Brien fired them ahead before Barry struck again to complete his brace and put Everton 3–1 up, leaving City stunned.

To their credit, Manchester City responded with urgency. Erling Haaland netted his 25th goal of the season to reduce the deficit, and deep into stoppage time, Doku completed his brace to rescue a point for the reigning champions. It was a spirited comeback, but ultimately two points dropped.
