Tottenham - Everton 1:0

Tottenham Hotspur secured their Premier League survival under head coach Roberto De Zerbi, with the former Shakhtar Donetsk manager guiding Spurs to a crucial victory on the final day of the season.

The North London side finished two points above the relegation zone after claiming their third win in the last five league matches, while rivals West Ham United suffered the heartbreak of relegation and will play in the EFL Championship next season.

In a tense encounter against Everton, Tottenham managed to find just one goal — but it proved enough to secure their place in England’s top flight. The decisive moment arrived in the 43rd minute when João Palhinha reacted quickest inside the penalty area.

The Portuguese midfielder first powered a header against the post before converting the rebound from close range to send the Spurs supporters into celebration mode. From that point onward, De Zerbi’s Tottenham defended with determination and held on for a priceless victory.

Meanwhile, West Ham did everything possible in their own fixture, comfortably defeating Leeds United 3-0 at home. However, the result ultimately proved meaningless, as the Hammers still finished 18th in the Premier League standings.

West Ham United will now join Burnley and Wolverhampton Wanderers in relegation to the Championship, bringing a painful end to a disastrous campaign for the East London club.
