UPL: Shakhtar is the champion of Ukraine in the 2022/23 season!

Shakhtar Donetsk in today's match of the 29th round of the UPL defeated Dnipro-1 (3:0) and became the champion of Ukraine.

For Shakhtar this UPL title was the 14th in history. Previously, Donetsk team won gold medals in the seasons 2001/02, 2004/05, 2005/06, 2007/2008, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12, 2012/13, 2013/14, 2016/17, 2017/18 , 2018/19 and 2019/20.

This league title will also allow Shakhtar to start playing in the Champions League 2023/24 season from the group stage of the tournament.
