West Ham - Chelsea 1:5

Chelsea sent a powerful message to their London rivals in a fiery second-round clash of the Premier League, dismantling West Ham 5-1 at the London Stadium.

The Hammers took an early lead through Lucas Paquetá in just the 6th minute, briefly igniting hopes of a derby upset. But that optimism was short-lived. What followed was a stunning show of dominance from the visitors, led by an inspired performance from new signing João Pedro.

Pedro not only found the net himself but also set up goals for both Pedro Neto and Trevoh Chalobah, underlining his instant impact in blue. Enzo Fernández and Moisés Caicedo also got on the scoresheet, rounding off a statement win for the Blues.

Despite a disappointing draw in their opening match, this emphatic victory sees Chelsea leap to the top of the Premier League table — at least temporarily—as the rest of the weekend fixtures unfold.
