AC Milan Close in on Rúben Amorim as Contract Details Emerge

AC Milan are reportedly moving closer to appointing Rúben Amorim as their new head coach, with Italian media revealing details of the contract offered to the Portuguese manager.
The 41-year-old has been out of work since January following his departure from Manchester United. Now, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport, negotiations between Milan and Amorim have reached an advanced stage, raising expectations that an agreement could soon be finalized.
The proposed deal is said to be a two-year contract worth between €3 million and €4 million per season. The offer also includes an option to extend the partnership for a further year.
Sources in Italy suggest that Amorim is now close to becoming the next manager of the seven-time UEFA Champions League winners, with discussions progressing positively in recent days.
For the Portuguese coach, the move could represent a crucial opportunity to rebuild his reputation following a turbulent spell at Manchester United. Arriving at Old Trafford at the end of 2024 amid significant expectations, Amorim struggled to produce consistent results in the Premier League.
