nter Milan and AC Milan’s New Stadium to Be Named Generali Stadium

The new home of Inter Milan and AC Milan will be called Generali Stadium, marking a major milestone in the ambitious project to build a modern arena for two of Italian football’s biggest clubs. The first details of the development were unveiled on Thursday at Sforza Castle in Milan. According to Italian news agency ANSA, the stadium will feature a distinctive bowl-shaped design, elevated on a raised platform, with the insurance group’s name displayed prominently across the exterior façade.
The architectural concept will be defined by striking diagonal lines, giving the venue a distinctive appearance and a modern identity. Designed to become a landmark for Italian football, the new arena will provide a shared home for Inter Milan and AC Milan, two historic rivals who currently share the iconic San Siro stadium.
The official opening of Generali Stadium is scheduled for the start of the 2031-32 season.
