Brentford - Manchester United 4:3

Brentford claimed one of their most dramatic wins of the season, edging past a shaken Manchester United 4–3 in a Premier League Matchday 35 classic that had everything — goals, comebacks, injuries, and standout performances.

Ukrainian youngster Yegor Yarmolyuk was handed a starting role by Thomas Frank and played 68 solid minutes before being replaced by Mathias Jensen. By the time of his substitution, Brentford had turned the match on its head, leading 2–1.

Mason Mount had opened the scoring for Manchester United, but things quickly unraveled for the Red Devils. A defensive mishap saw Luke Shaw turn the ball into his own net, and shortly after, Kevin Schade struck to give Brentford a deserved lead.

The second half saw more fireworks. Schade completed his brace with a confident finish, and Yoane Wissa added a fourth on 74 minutes, seemingly sealing the points for the Bees.

But United mounted a late rally. Alejandro Garnacho pulled one back, and Amad Diallo — making his long-awaited return from injury — fired home another to make it 4–3, setting up a tense finale. Unfortunately for Ruben Amorim, there was to be no equaliser.

The win lifts Brentford to 9th place in the Premier League table, while Manchester United slip to 15th — a position that raises serious questions as the season nears its end.
