Manchester United finally secured their first Premier League victory of the season, coming from behind to beat newly promoted Ipswich Town 5-2 in a dramatic comeback at Old Trafford.

Just eight days after their disappointing defeat to Hull City on the opening weekend, the Red Devils once again found themselves in trouble against a newly promoted side. Leif Davis put Ipswich Town ahead in the 29th minute, raising fresh questions about United's start to the campaign.

But Bruno Fernandes had other ideas. The Manchester United captain restored parity shortly before half-time, and the hosts then turned the game around early in the second period. Jacob Greaves put the ball into his own net before Fernandes converted the resulting penalty to complete the turnaround.

The Portugal international was not finished there. Fernandes added his second goal from close range to complete his hat-trick and then turned provider, setting up Bryan Mbeumo for United's fifth goal.

There was still time for Ipswich Town to pull another goal back, with Chuba Akpom finding the net late on a rain-soaked Old Trafford. But there was to be no further twist as Manchester United held on for a convincing 5-2 victory.
