Inter Miami produced a stunning attacking display in MLS, cruising to a 7-1 home victory over CF Montreal in a one-sided encounter.

The star of the night was, once again, Lionel Messi, who completed a sensational hat-trick. The Argentine struck in the 51st, 82nd and sixth minute of stoppage time to cap a remarkable individual performance.

Casemiro also found the net for Inter Miami, while Luis Suarez added another goal as the hosts ran riot. Montreal's Joel Waterman put through his own net, while Gerber scored the visitors' only goal of the game.

There was also a Ukrainian presence on the field. Hennadii Synchuk started for Montreal and played for 59 minutes before being substituted.
