Inter Miami secured a convincing 3-1 away victory over Atlanta United in the Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season, with Lionel Messi stealing the headlines after scoring twice in the space of just four minutes.

Germán Berterame broke the deadlock in the 45th minute, giving Inter Miami the lead just before half-time. The visitors carried that momentum into the second half, with Messi doubling their advantage in the 56th minute after being set up by Luis Suárez.

Four minutes later, the Argentine superstar struck again. Once more, Suárez provided the assist, allowing Messi to complete his brace and put Inter Miami firmly in control of the contest.

Atlanta United managed to pull one back in the 89th minute when Fafà Picault calmly converted a penalty. However, the late consolation proved insufficient to spark a comeback, as Inter Miami held on for a 3-1 win on the road.
