The 2034 FIFA World Cup will be held in Saudi Arabia. This was announced by FIFA President Gianni Infantino, reports Reuters.

“Football unites like no other sport, the world championship is the ideal platform for the message of unification and inclusivity. Different cultures can be together,” Infantino is quoted saying.

There was no competition for the right to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Yesterday Australia decided against bidding to stage the tournament . After this, Saudi Arabia had no competitors left.
