The ticketing programme will be rolled out in multiple phases, starting in September 2025

FIFA has officially announced that the first phase of ticket applications for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will open on Wednesday, 10 September 2025.

The ticketing programme will be rolled out in multiple phases, starting in September 2025 and continuing all the way until the tournament’s grand finale on Sunday, 19 July 2026. FIFA confirmed that detailed information regarding each ticketing window will be released in the coming months via its official channels.

The highly anticipated 2026 World Cup — the first edition to feature 48 teams and to be jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico — will kick off on Thursday, 11 June 2026, at the iconic Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The final is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at the state-of-the-art MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey — the same venue that successfully hosted the final of the FIFA Club World Cup just last weekend.
