Ukrainian football legends urge Bosnia and Herzegovina to boycott the game with Russia

Six legendary Ukrainian football ex-players signed an open letter to the players and coaches of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team with a request to abandon the plan of the national federation to play a match with the Russian team.

In particular, it says:

"We believe that the decision of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team to play a match with the team of the aggressor country is an unfortunate mistake. A mistake that can be corrected! Therefore, we urge you to refuse to participate in a football match with the Russian national team! Refuse in order to stop the military aggression against Ukraine and for the future of a democratic Europe!".

The appeal was signed by Oleg Blokhin, Igor Belanov, Andriy Shevchenko, Oleg Protasov, Alexei Mikhailichenko and Anatoly Demyanenko.
