Newcastle United have officially signed midfielder Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa in a deal worth £40 million (€46 million), the clubs confirmed today.

The 24-year-old is a product of Aston Villa’s academy and made his senior debut in 2019. Since then, he has gone on to make 167 appearances for the Villans across all competitions.

During his time at Villa Park, Ramsey scored 17 goals and registered 19 assists, establishing himself as one of the most consistent and dynamic midfielders in the Premier League.
