Chelsea Agree First Signing for 2026: Emanuel Emegha Set to Join from Strasbourg
Chelsea have officially announced the signing of Dutch striker Emanuel Emegha from Strasbourg, with the 22-year-old set to join the West London club at the end of the 2025/26 season.
With the summer transfer window already closed, the move has been confirmed in advance. Emegha will sign a long-term deal with the Blues, committing to a seven-year contract once the current campaign concludes.
Last season forward made headlines in Ligue 1 with an impressive return of 14 goals and 3 assists in 27 appearances. Chelsea FC highlighted his potential in the official announcement, describing him as “already recognised as one of the most promising young strikers in Europe.”
So far this season, Emegha has continued his strong form, netting three goals in four appearances across all competitions for Strasbourg.
