Hotspur made an emphatic start to the new EPL campaign

Tottenham Hotspur made an emphatic start to the new Premier League campaign, securing a commanding 3-0 victory over Burnley in North London.

The match, played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, saw Ange Postecoglou's men in complete control from the first whistle. Brazilian forward Richarlison opened the scoring early on, setting the tone for what turned out to be a one-sided affair.

After the break, Richarlison struck again to complete his brace, showcasing the kind of sharpness Spurs fans have been hoping to see consistently from the former Everton man. The rout was completed when Brennan Johnson added a third, hammering the final nail into Burnley’s coffin.
