Maurizio Sarri Confirmed as New Atalanta Head Coach

Experienced Italian manager Maurizio Sarri is officially set to take charge of Atalanta, according to transfer insider Nicolò Schira, who reports that the agreement between the club and the coach has been fully completed and confirmed.
Sarri has signed a long-term contract running until 2029, with the veteran tactician expected to earn around €3.5 million per year in Bergamo.
The appointment marks a fresh chapter for the former Chelsea, Juventus, and Lazio boss, whose recent spell in the Italian capital ended in disappointment after an inconsistent period with Lazio.
At Atalanta, Sarri replaces Raffaele Palladino as head coach, with the club hoping his trademark attacking philosophy and vast Serie A experience can keep the Bergamo side among Italy’s elite.
Meanwhile, Palladino may not remain out of work for long. Reports in Italy suggest the young coach is already being lined up for a potential move to Bologna.
