Liverpool Secure Their First 2026/27 Premier League Win

Liverpool have finally ended their frustrating run of draws at the start of the Premier League season, producing a convincing 2-0 victory over Ipswich Town. The result was effectively decided in the opening stages, with the Reds' attacking partnership making the difference when it mattered most.
Swedish striker Alexander Isak struck twice in quick succession, with Cody Gakpo providing the assists for both goals. The early double gave Liverpool control of the contest and left Ipswich with a mountain to climb.
There was also a debut to remember for big-money signing Bradley Barcola. The forward came on for Victor Munoz in the 64th minute, making his first appearance for the club and spending around 40 minutes on the pitch.
