Champions continued their perfect start to the Bundesliga season with a commanding fifth consecutive victory

Bayern Munich, under the guidance of head coach Vincent Kompany, continued their perfect start to the Bundesliga season with a commanding fifth consecutive victory — and their fourth by a large margin — cementing their place at the top of the table.

It was one-way traffic from the opening whistle at the Allianz Arena. By the fifth minute, visiting goalkeeper was already called into action twice to deny early efforts from Harry Kane.

The breakthrough came midway through the first half. Michael Olise slipped a clever ball into the box, Jonathan Tah flicked it on with his heel, and after a deflection off Luis Díaz's knee, the ball found the back of the net.

Shortly before the break, Kane doubled Bayern’s lead from the penalty spot — remarkably converting his 18th consecutive penalty. The England captain wasn’t done yet. Midway through the second half, Díaz turned provider again, delivering a pinpoint assist for Kane to slot home his second of the night.

The icing on the cake came in the 87th minute. Konrad Laimer received the ball inside the box on the left, and with composure, curled it past the keeper into the far corner to make it 4–0.

Next up for Bayern Munich is a UEFA Champions League fixture on Tuesday, 30 September, as they travel to Cyprus to take on Pafos FC.
