The curtain has closed on the 2024/25 Bundesliga season

The curtain has closed on the 2024/25 Bundesliga season, and with the final matchday wrapped up, all four German representatives for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League have been confirmed.

As expected, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen had already secured the top two spots well in advance. Both clubs enjoyed dominant campaigns and will head into next season’s Champions League as Bundesliga’s front-runners.

Joining them is Eintracht Frankfurt, who clinched third place after a decisive 3-1 win over SC Freiburg in a head-to-head battle for a UCL berth. The victory caps off a strong season for the Eagles, confirming their return to Europe’s elite competition.

The final Champions League ticket goes to Borussia Dortmund. Under head coach Niko Kovač, Dortmund sealed fourth place with a commanding 3-0 victory over Holstein Kiel at Signal Iduna Park, finishing two points clear of Freiburg in the standings.
