Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchikh won the gold of the 2024 Olympic Games in High Jump as Australian Nicola Olislagers finished second. Mahuchikh took the height of 2.00 meters on the first attempt, Olislagers - on third.

Iryna Gerashchenko shared the bronze with the Australian Eleanor Patterson - they both showed a result of 1.95 meters.

We would like to add that a month ago Mahuchikh set a world record (2.10 m) at the Diamond League stage, beating the achievement of Stefka Kostadinova from Bulgaria, which had been held for 37 years.
