Imad Ashur became the head coach of Polissya

Polissya will debut in Europe under the leadership of a new head coach. On Sunday, Imad Ashur, who until recently coached Dnipro-1 (U19) team, was named as a new manager.

- It was no secret to anyone that my contract with Dnipro-1 was expiring. Some time ago, contacts with several clubs happened. The Polissya project looked the most ambitious. There was quite a long conversation that led to such a result, - said Imad Ashur.

At the end of the season 2023-24 Serhiy Shishchenko was the acting head coach of Polissya - he led the team to the fifth place finish and Conference League qualification.
