AC Milan is engaged in tough negotiations with Feyenoord over the transfer of Mexican striker Santiago Giménez. The two clubs remain far apart in their valuation of the player, with the Dutch side demanding €40 million, while Milan considers this figure excessive.

Feyenoord initially signed the 23-year-old forward from Cruz Azul for just €6 million, which further fuels Milan’s belief that the current asking price is inflated.

According to recent reports, Milan has already reached a personal agreement with Giménez on a four-and-a-half-year contract, with a salary of around €2.5 million per season.

The Rossoneri were initially hoping to negotiate the price down to €30 million, but Giménez’s recent brace against Bayern Munich in the Champions League has complicated their efforts. Milan is now prepared to increase their offer to around €33-34 million in hopes of closing the deal.

Negotiations are set to continue on Monday, as Milan remains determined to secure the talented striker without overpaying.
