Shakhtar’s caretaker coach Darijo Srna addressed the players before today's training session:

“From today I want to say that I am no Guardiola. But I know what I want and can give you, and I will give it. This is confidence, a good atmosphere and freedom. And only those who love, respect and are ready to fight for this shirt will play. I assure you.

I won't change. I will laugh and joke with you. I am who I am. But from today everyone must understand that Shakhtar is Shakhtar. And if one doesn’t fit there and isn’t happy, my hands are open, and I will make the decision.

I hope that we will find a common language. The President has already sent a message to everyone, and from today we will start working,” said Srna.
