Ukraine U19 team will take part in the elite round of the European Championship qualifying competition

Since May 24, the side of Volodymyr Yezerskyi (players born in 2003 and younger) have been preparing for the competition at the base of the Netherlands national team in the town of Zeist.

Let us remind you that in the elite round of the Euro 2022 qualification, the Ukraine U19 team got into Group 6 to lock horns with the Netherlands, Norway and Serbia. The competition was supposed to take place on March 23-29, but UEFA changed the dates due to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. Matches with the participation of our team have been scheduled for the period of June 1st through June 7th.

June 1st. Norway U19 vs Ukraine U19 (Rotterdam, 17:00)
June 4th. Ukraine U19 vs Serbia U19 (Alphen aan den Rijn, 13:00)
June 7th. Ukraine U19 vs Netherlands U19 (Rotterdam, 20:00)

In case of making it to the finals, the Ukraine team will play in Group B along with England, Israel and Austria. Matches will be held from June 18th to July 1st in Slovakia. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. There will be a fifth-spot decider as well since the five strongest UEFA Under-19 Euro 2022 teams will take part in the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup in Indonesia.
