The road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup continued in the CONCACAF region with another round of qualifiers producing dramatic late goals, dominant wins, and a few surprises across the board.
Suriname 1–1 Guatemala
It was heartbreak for Guatemala, who looked set to grab all three points after Óscar Santis Lom fired them ahead in the 75th minute. But Suriname refused to give up, and Mitchell Misidjan salvaged a crucial point with a dramatic equaliser deep into stoppage time (90+4).
Bermuda 0–3 Trinidad and Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago made a strong statement with a dominant away win over Bermuda. Goals from Reon Sealy (10’), Kaile Auvray-Spicer (30’) and Levi García Henry (49’) ensured a comfortable three points for the Soca Warriors, keeping their qualification hopes firmly alive.
Curacao 2–0 Jamaica
In one of the biggest results of the night, Curacao stunned regional heavyweights Jamaica with a well-earned 2–0 victory. Roshon Van Kanten Comanencia opened the scoring in the 14th minute, and Kenji Gorré added a second just past the hour mark (68’) to seal an impressive win.
El Salvador 0–1 Panama
A tight contest in San Salvador saw Panama edge past El Salvador thanks to a lone strike from José Fajardo in the 55th minute. The narrow victory keeps Panama on track as they chase another appearance on football’s biggest stage.
