Manchester United opened their new Champions League campaign in convincing fashion, cruising to a comfortable victory over Azerbaijani debutants Sabah.

The Red Devils took control of the game before half-time, scoring three times to put the result beyond doubt. They added a fourth after the break to complete an emphatic night at home.

Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes, Benjamin Šeško and Lisandro Martínez were all on target for Manchester United, as the Premier League giants made a powerful start to their European campaign.
