The project was supported by the Andrii Matiukha Foundation. As part of the collaboration, 75 one-day sessions are planned for repair crews and technical personnel of NEC Ukrenergo. In total, around 1,500 energy workers are expected to complete the training by the end of the program.

The program emerged in response to real challenges. Since the start of the full-scale war, over 30 massive attacks have damaged more than 63,000 energy infrastructure facilities. At least 160 employees have died, 13 of them at their workplace. More than 300 others were injured.

“Energy workers provide light even after shelling. On our side, we created courses that allow people to learn how to save lives before an ambulance arrives. In the conditions in which energy workers operate, this knowledge is essential,” said Andrii Matiukha.

In 2025, the organization twice supported the provision of modern equipment to the emergency surgery department of Okhmatdyt and participated in the international initiative “Origami for Ukraine”, involving the city administrations of Brussels and Kyiv, aimed at drawing attention to fundraising for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian military personnel.
