FC Olexandria will suffer a technical defeat

FC Olexandria will suffer a technical defeat (3-0) in the match of the UPL's 18th round against Shakhtar.

The reason for this is that Olexandria's player Ivan Kalyuzhny, who was not in the official club roster for the second part of the season, took part in the UPL match.

"We inform you that, unfortunately, midfielder Ivan Kalyuzhny had no right to play for FC Oleksandriya in the match with FC Shakhtar (0-0) on February 26, 2024.

We apologize to all fans, team and coaching staff. This unfortunate error occurred due to a human error. The case has been noted by the control and disciplinary committee, which will make a decision on this incident", FC Olexandria's official web-site reports.

Ivan Kalyuzhny spent the first part of the season on loan in LNZ and returned to Olexandria in 2024.
