Officially: Andriy Shevchenko nominated for the UAF president
Legend of the Ukrainian national team Andriy Shevchenko today became a candidate for the presidency of the Ukrainian Football Association.
The current head of the UAF, Andriy Pavelko, is involved in the criminal case and is currently in the pre-trial detention center.
As of December 12, 2023, the administration of the Ukrainian Football Association received approval of 14 permanent members of the UAF - all of them nominated Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko for the president of organization.
The new president of the UAF will be elected at the congress of the association, which is scheduled for January 25.
