The head coach of Kryvbas Yuriy Vernydub spoke on the victory over Metalist-1925 in the 11th round of the UPL.

– We went to this game, understanding that Metalist 1925 was perfoming very good. In terms of possession they ranks high in the UPL. We understood that we needed to play aggressively against this opponent, not give them much time to make decisions, but put more pressure on them. Basically, our plan worked. We played well in the first half, scored two goals, and could have scored a third.

We knew that the second half was ahead, and nothing was over yet. After the break we looked good again, carried out good counterattacks, had many chances, and scored the third goal. We won – we did what we set out to do.

And now we have three matches ahead: Dnipro-1, Polissya, Dynamo. Let's see how we can compete with the clubs that are also fighting for the highest places. All the most interesting things are yet to come, now it’s only the 11th round.
