The match is expected to be an emotional homecoming after more than a season at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys

FC Barcelona have received the green light from the city council to return to the iconic Spotify Camp Nou, despite the stadium still being under extensive renovation. However, fans hoping for a full-scale reopening will have to wait — only a partial section of the venue will be accessible.

According to unofficial reports, the club will open just the lower tiers of the stadium, where renovation work has already been completed. As a result, the first home game back at Camp Nou will accommodate a maximum of 27,000 spectators.

Barcelona are aiming to make their long-awaited return to the Camp Nou in mid-September, with the proposed fixture being a La Liga clash against Valencia. The match is expected to be an emotional homecoming after more than a season at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
