Luis Enrique: I don't remember a single match under my reign with so many errors
Luis Enrique, Spain coach, commented on his team's defeat in a game with Switzerland:
"Losing is always something that hurts, no matter how long you've gone unbeaten. But credit to the opponent, they were always dangerous, they pressed well and our first half was as imprecise as any since I've been in charge."
"I've no doubts for the World Cup and how we'll do based on this. When you lose, you analyse and you learn. I repeat that I don't remember a single match under my reign with so many errors. Now we simply have to win away to Portugal."
"We lost too many easy balls, we didn't defend well but football is played against a rival and they were very good. We needed to force them to commit errors and take advantage of them, but this wasn't our day."
"Portugal have world-class players – we've drawn our last three against them I think, it's going to be a difficult place to win but a draw won't serve us, so we'll go there to try and take three points."
