Fiorentina - Atalanta 1:1

Fiorentina and Atalanta signed off their Serie A campaign with a dramatic draw at the Artemio Franchi Stadium, as a late own goal denied the hosts all three points in the final round of the season.

The visitors from Bergamo started brightly and created several dangerous opportunities early on, but it was Fiorentina who struck first. In the 39th minute, Roberto Piccoli calmly finished from close range after a precise assist from Marco Brescianini, giving the home crowd something to celebrate despite the pressure from Atalanta.

The second half turned into an open and entertaining contest, with chances appearing at both ends of the pitch. Oliver Christensen produced a series of impressive saves for the Florence side, including a crucial one-on-one stop that seemed destined to secure victory for the hosts.

However, the drama arrived late in the game. In the 82nd minute, Pietro Comuzzo accidentally turned the ball into his own net while attempting to intercept a dangerous cross, handing Atalanta a decisive equaliser.
