The strike marked a sensational run of form for the French international, being his sixth goal in his last five outings.

The second half was highlighted by the long-awaited return of Lautaro Martínez. The club captain, who had been sidelined since early April, was introduced to a deafening standing ovation. The Argentine looked sharp immediately, providing the decisive assist in the 81st minute for Henrikh Mkhitaryan to fire home and put the result beyond doubt.
