Juventus returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion

Juventus returned to winning ways in emphatic fashion, defeating Pisa 4–0 in Serie A and bringing an end to a frustrating four-match winless run. The convincing victory offers much-needed relief for Luciano Spalletti and his squad after a difficult spell.

The opening half, however, was far from comfortable for the Turin giants. Pisa threatened early and could have taken the lead when Stefano Moreo fired a dangerous effort towards goal. At the other end, Jonathan David struggled to convert his chances and was substituted at half-time after a disappointing first-half display.

The introduction of Jérémie Boga injected fresh energy into Juventus’ attack, but it was Kenan Yildiz who ultimately changed the course of the match. The Turkish talent delivered a perfectly weighted pass that allowed Andrea Cambiaso to head the ball into an empty net and break the deadlock.

Momentum quickly shifted in favour of Juventus. Shortly after the opener, Khephren Thuram doubled the lead, reacting quickest to slot home the rebound after Manuel Locatelli struck the post. The players celebrated the goal by congratulating Luciano Spalletti, marking the coach’s birthday with a crucial moment in the match.

Kenan Yildiz then capped an outstanding performance with a goal of his own, brilliantly skipping past a defender before calmly placing the ball into the bottom corner.
