The upcoming Inter vs Juventus clash, scheduled for Saturday, 14 February, will go ahead with a full crowd. The Serie A sports judge opted against closing sections of the stadium or ordering the match to be played behind closed doors, instead handing Inter a financial penalty.

The ruling follows an incident in Cremona, where a firecracker was thrown from the away section occupied by Inter supporters in the direction of the home goalkeeper. As a result, the club have been fined €50,000. Disciplinary bodies decided not to impose harsher sanctions affecting Inter’s next home league fixture.

In the official decision, the authorities highlighted mitigating factors, pointing to Inter’s response. The club cooperated promptly with league officials and activated an internal stadium ban mechanism against those responsible for the incident. This measure allows clubs to bar offenders from attending matches even without a court ruling.

Alongside the fine, Inter were issued with an official warning. The document states that any repeat incidents posing a threat to the safety of players, officials or staff could lead to significantly tougher sanctions — ranging from partial stadium closures to matches behind closed doors or even a stadium ban of up to two years.
