Gran Gala del Calcio Reveals the Best of the 2024–25 Serie A Season

The Gran Gala del Calcio has unveiled the standout performers of the 2024–25 Serie A campaign, with Scott McTominay of Napoli claiming the night’s top individual honour. The Scottish midfielder, a key figure in Napoli’s title triumph, was recognised for his influential role throughout another memorable season.
The Team of the Season was dominated by stars from Inter and Napoli, the two clubs that battled fiercely for the Scudetto. The lineup featured Denzel Dumfries, Amir Rrahmani, Alessandro Bastoni, Federico Dimarco, Nicolò Barella, and Lautaro Martínez, all instrumental in shaping one of the most competitive title races in recent years.
Also included were players who have since left Italy: Tijjani Reijnders, now at Manchester City, and last season’s top scorer Mateo Retegui, who completed a move to Al-Qadsiah.
Antonio Conte was named Coach of the Year, while Napoli earned the title of Club of the Year. Inter’s rising forward Francesco Pio Esposito received the Italian Golden Boy award, and Niccolò Bertola was crowned Best Young Player of Serie B.
The Goal of the Year accolade went to Alessandro Deola for his spectacular strike against Venezia.
