Cremonese delivered a stunning result in Serie A, claiming a convincing 3–1 victory away to Bologna on Matchday 13.

The opening 30 minutes were tightly contested, with both sides matching each other in intensity and possession. But the visitors eventually broke the deadlock when Martín Payero found the net, and just five minutes later Vardy doubled the lead with a clinical finish that left the home crowd stunned at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Bologna managed to respond only in first-half stoppage time, as Riccardo Orsolini coolly converted a penalty to halve the deficit and give the hosts a lifeline heading into the interval.

Yet immediately after the restart, Vardy struck again — restoring Cremonese’s two-goal cushion and shifting the momentum firmly back in the visitors’ favour. From there, Bologna pushed forward relentlessly, dominating the ball and constructing long attacking moves, but they struggled to break down a disciplined and compact Cremonese back line.
