Inter - Fiorentina 3:0

Inter Milan delivered a dominant second-half performance to defeat Fiorentina 3–0 at the San Siro, closing the gap in the Serie A standings and drawing level on points with city rivals AC Milan at 18.

The first half was evenly contested, with both sides creating chances but failing to break the deadlock. David De Gea kept Fiorentina in the game with a pair of superb saves to deny Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco.

After the break, Inter shifted gears. Hakan Çalhanoğlu opened the scoring with a thunderous strike from outside the box, setting the tone for the hosts. Just five minutes later, Marko Sučić doubled the lead after a swift counterattack that left Fiorentina’s defence flat-footed.

In the closing stages, substitute Benny Bouni was brought down inside the area, and Çalhanoğlu calmly converted from the penalty spot to complete his brace and seal the victory.
