Lazio - Juventus 1:0

Lazio clinched a narrow but crucial victory over Juventus, extending the Turin giants’ dreadful run to eight matches without a win — their third straight defeat across Serie A and the Champions League.

The only goal of the game came in the first half, when Toma Bašić capitalised on a costly error by Danilo before firing past Mattia Perin. Despite an aggressive response after the break, with Juventus throwing on all their attacking options — including young talents Kenan Yıldız and Loïs Openda — the Bianconeri failed to find a breakthrough.

Lazio stood firm defensively, and could have even doubled their lead through Gustav Isaksen, who came close late in the game. Ultimately, Maurizio Sarri’s men showed resilience and tactical discipline to see out the match and pile even more pressure on Igor Tudor and his struggling side.
