Igor Tudor on the brink as Juventus tensions escalate
Juventus head coach Igor Tudor is reportedly facing a battle to save his job following Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Como, which has further strained his relationship with sporting director Damien Comolli, according to multiple Italian outlets.
Tuttosport claims that tension between the two had already been rising before the match, with Comolli suggesting a tactical shift to a four-man defence. The loss to newly promoted Como has only deepened the rift, leaving Tudor’s position increasingly uncertain.
In addition, Tudor is said to be unhappy with several of the club’s recent internal decisions, including the appointment of performance manager Darren Burgess, a move the Croatian reportedly did not endorse.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the next two matches will be decisive for Tudor’s future. Juventus face Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday before taking on Lazio in Serie A at the weekend — a pair of fixtures that could determine whether he stays in charge.
