Pisa - AS Roma 0:1

AS Roma picked up a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Pisa in Matchday 3 of the Serie A 2025/26 campaign.

The first half was tense and cagey, with Pisa creating several promising chances through Meister, but failing to convert. Roma looked off the pace until head coach Gian Piero Gasperini introduced Paulo Dybala early in the second half — a move that changed the momentum completely.

In the 62nd minute, Matías Soulé broke the deadlock with a calm finish following an assist from Lewis Ferguson. Shortly after, Dybala found the net himself, but the goal was disallowed for a handball in the buildup.

Pisa were unable to mount a serious comeback, and Roma held firm to secure their second win of the season, moving to 6 points and climbing into the top half of the table.
