De Bruyne Already Pulling Strings at Napoli: Watch the Belgian Maestro in Action
Kevin De Bruyne is wasting no time settling into life at Napoli. For the second game in a row, the Belgian playmaker was at the heart of everything as he orchestrated play in midfield with trademark vision and precision.
In their latest pre-season friendly, Antonio Conte’s men secured a 2–1 victory over Serie B side Catanzaro. The match offered a glimpse into the manager’s evolving plans, with a few surprising selections in the starting XI — including Giacomo Raspadori, Lorenzo Lucca, Noa Lang, and David Neres.
David Neres provided the assist for Raspadori’s goal, while Lucca won and confidently converted a penalty to seal the win.
But the spotlight remained firmly on De Bruyne, who pulled the strings in midfield with authority. Almost every attack flowed through the former Manchester City star, as he dictated tempo and provided creative spark throughout the 90 minutes.
