The NBA witnessed a rare and rather amusing incident

The NBA witnessed a rare and rather amusing incident during the clash between the Denver Nuggets and the Minnesota Timberwolves. Midway through the third quarter, a simple human error caused the league’s official stat-tracking system to malfunction. For several minutes, game statisticians had to go full “stone age” mode — recording every rebound, assist and steal manually.

Even this unexpected glitch couldn’t hide the brilliance of Nikola Jokic. Missing two regular starters — Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Bruce Brown — the Serbian maestro still delivered a trademark triple-double: 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. The Nuggets have now extended their winning streak to seven games, trailing only the impressive nine-game run of the Detroit Pistons.

Giannis vs. Doncic: MVP Candidates Go Head-to-Head

Meanwhile in Milwaukee, fans were treated to a heavyweight duel between two of the league’s leading MVP contenders — Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic. This time, it was the Slovenian superstar who came out on top, both individually and in terms of the final scoreline, as the Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a dominant 119–95 victory.

Luka Doncic was nothing short of spectacular, pouring in 41 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Giannis Antetokounmpo responded with a strong performance of his own — 32 points, 10 boards and 5 assists — but it wasn’t enough to keep pace with Doncic’s relentless tempo.
