Official: Crystal Palace to play in Europa Conference League after losing UEFA appeal
Crystal Palace have been officially relegated to the UEFA Europa Conference League for the 2025/26 season, following an unsuccessful appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) over their exclusion from the Europa League.
The 2025 FA Cup and Community Shield winners were disqualified from the UEFA Europa League due to a breach of UEFA’s multi-club ownership rules. Palace share a part-owner with French side Olympique Lyon, who have also qualified for the same competition.
As a result, Nottingham Forest have been awarded Palace's spot in the Europa League, while the South London club will instead compete in the Europa Conference League.
