Crystal Palace - Liverpool 1:3

Liverpool secured an impressive 3-1 away victory over Crystal Palace, climbing back into the Premier League's top four. Andoni Iraola's side weathered an early spell of pressure from the hosts, with Alisson producing a couple of outstanding saves while Yeremy Pino struck the woodwork.

Just before half-time, Alexis Mac Allister broke the deadlock, rising to meet a cross and directing a precise header into the net to give the visitors the lead.

Liverpool strengthened their grip on the contest shortly after the restart when Florian Wirtz scored his first Premier League goal of the season. Alexander Isak then made it 3-0, putting the result beyond doubt. Eddie Nketiah converted a stoppage-time penalty for the Eagles, but it proved little more than a consolation as Liverpool took all three points back to Merseyside.
