Football Transfers

Reports from Sky Sport Germany confirm that Bayern Munich have no intention of signing Virgil van Dijk—either as a free agent or otherwise. Despite rumors suggesting the 33-year-old Liverpool center-back could become available at the end of the season, the German giants apparently aren’t pursuing him at present.

Bundesliga: Fixtures, Results & Standings

Although many had expected Van Dijk to extend his current deal at Anfield, uncertainty crept in with talk of a lucrative offer from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, followed by speculation linking him to Bayern Munich. However, Sky Sport firmly states that no discussions have taken place between the Bavarian club and the Netherlands captain.

On the other side, Liverpool continue to push for Van Dijk to remain at the club, holding an optimistic outlook on finalizing a new agreement with one of the Premier League’s most influential defenders.
