Serhii Shishchenko was named the best coach of the last, 30th round of the 2023/24 championship of Ukraine. This was also was the last match for the acting coach of Polissia - shortly after the game, the appointment of Imad Ashur was announced.

Shishchenko got 46.9% of the votes of the fans who took part in this survey. The other nominees for this award were Oleg Shandruk from Veres (25.3%), Ruslan Rotan from Oleksandria (19.3%) and Yuriy Maksimov from Dnipro-1 (8.6%).

Polyssia saw off Shishchenko with a victory over the champion, Shakhtar Donetsk. Those were very important three points for Polissia, as they allowed the team to break through to the European competitions.
