The head of the Ukrainian Football Association Andriy Pavelko was arrested today, June 16th, as a part of investigation in embezzlement of funds at the construction of a factory for the production of artificial grass for football fields.

The investigating judge of the Shevchenkovsky District Court of the city of Lviv granted the prosecutor's request to change the measure of restraint for the President of the UAF - the preventive measure was changed to detention for a period of 60 days.

A deposit in the amount of UAH 9.88 million, which UAF Marketing paid for Pavelko in November 2022, was transferred to the state.
